You will be outside
Extension officers walk plots. If the appeal of this job is a desk, it is the wrong job.
The farmer is the customer
Not the head office, not the report. If a farmer cannot explain their own loan terms back to you, the work is not finished.
Write it down
A record that exists only in someone's head cannot be audited, and money that cannot be traced does not revolve.
Say the hard thing early
A yield problem raised in July is a problem. Raised in November it is a loss.
