About
Built in Zaria, since 2021.
Arzikin Noma is Hausa. It means the wealth of agriculture — the idea that farming is not subsistence to be endured but a business that can make a household prosperous.
The company was founded in 2021 in Zaria, in the middle of Nigeria’s grain belt, on a simple observation. Nigerian smallholders are not short of skill or effort. They are short of four things at once: good seed, working capital, sound agronomy and a buyer who will not exploit them at harvest. Solve one and nothing changes. Solve all four together and the arithmetic of a small farm turns.
Five years on, that model reaches over 400,000 farmers across 13 Nigerian states, has crossed into Kenya, and has been chosen to help deliver the largest smallholder financing programme in Nigeria’s history.

What we are working towards
Africa should feed itself first, and the world second.
Food that must be imported can be withheld. A continent that grows its own is a continent that cannot be leaned on. That is why the target is not only yield but sovereignty.
One million African smallholders by 2030.
